Sharafat Ali is a dedicated legal professional with over two decades of experience, as an Advocate, Researcher, Legislative Drafting Expert, Trainer and Mediator who has served as Legal Consultant for the Federal Ministry of Law & Justice and the Federal Ministry of Human Rights. He has also worked as a National Legal Expert with the UN agencies and NGOs including UNICEF, UNDP, UNFPA, UNFAO, Qatar Red Crescent, Islamic Relief, The Asia Foundation, Oxford Policy Management and Group Development Pakistan.

Sharafat Ali is licensed to practise as an Advocate High Court by the Islamabad Bar Council and a Life Member of the Islamabad High Court Bar Association.

Sharafat Ali, as an internationally trained lawyer, received a Certificate of Qualification from the National Committee on Accreditation (NCA), Federation of Law Societies of Canada.
